A Proclamation

So I'm back from the holiday and I'm so excited. I had a great time with my grandma and family in Mississippi. I've been really down lately about a few things, starting with my baby boy Ziggy, then this past weekend I attended the funeral of the sister of a good friend of mine. She was 26 and had been battling lupus for 13 years and she was like a little sister to me as well. Her service reminded me of what a wonderful and special person she was. And even though she was young, her life was a complete inspiration. The consensus that was echoed by everyone that spoke such kinds words about her was that she was determined and never complained. She lived her life and didn't let her illness hold her back from the things that she wanted to do. So I've decided that I want to be happy again. I want to use Miracle's life as sort of a guide. I'm 30 and I complain and don't live the way that she lived and don't fully pursue my dreams. I definitely don't live my life to the fullest. Miracle never used lupus as an excuse and I being of sound mind and body have absolutely no excuses!

So on this Monday (formerly my most hated day of the week) I've decided that I will be happy and I choose to live my life the way that GOD intended for me to.

The beginning

So I've started on my first paid order. Who knew that receiving sterling silver wire in the mail could be a highlight of your day? This is the beginning of the two toned wrapped hoop. A little harder than I remember but as always I'll get thru it.

Superstoked!

I got my first paying order!! I've ordered business cards! I'm superstoked!! She (my co-worker) placed an order for 2 pairs of earrings! I'll show the pics once I've created them. Yay!!

I'm also excited because I've found a metalworking class that I want to take! My ultimate goal is to be a metalsmith. Honestly if I could go to school and learn this as a trade, I would do that. This class sounds like it will help me get started. I was just going to teach myself but this is at the local community college and doesn't seem too expensive and since it's a whole semester it should be pretty extensive. If I like it I may just take the next class after.

Anyway that's what's going on with me and the COCOBLISS empire. :-)

My Ziggy Bell

My Ziggy passed away from unknown causes while we were away in Vegas. Now Vegas isn't such a happy place for me anymore.

Ziggy Bell was the best doggy-son that there ever was and that there ever will be. I immensely miss him. There are still no words and I'm still trying to move on, whatever that means.

Here's to you my Ziggro. Mommy loves you.
